Tonight we open Doodle-ee-Dee. There will be instruments to play. Glasses to clang. Dancing to do. Singing to be sang.
It’s going to be really fun. Come on down and play my accordion. We’ll have healthy snacks and refreshments. Doors open at 5pm.

The show last night was awesome. Easily one of the best bands I’ve seen in Tacoma. Sorry that I lied about the horns. Apparently they aren’t taking them on the tour. But man they sounded good anyways.

The Helm is hosting a show at the Stereo Lounge this Tuesday.
It will feature Rafter Roberts of Asthmatic Kitty Records. It should be amazing. 5 piece. Horns. oh yes.
Show starts at 8pm. It’s $5. It all goes to the bands. Helmsters make zippo. We pass the savings on to your parents.
Bring your friends. It’s gonna be the best thing you’ve seen this year.

We had a nice weekend rocking out with Trevor Dickson and company. It was a crazy show. Whoah mama. And then the guys over at Tacomic had their first annual get-together/birthday party thing today. Looked really good. RR had some super fancy computer and I heard rumors that it could get on the intertubes. Amazing stuff.
We now begin the process of installing our next show, Children of Nature. Tunnels, pony walls, lumber, and soil. Just you wait.

Trevor Dickson of The Elephants will be playing a solo set at The Helm this coming Saturday the eighth. Along with him will be Skeleton Rebellion, Ick, and John Stockton. All ages are welcome. It starts at 7pm. Cost: six bucks.
